Good Morning Green
(Paleo, Vegan, GF, DF, RSF)
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 handful of baby spinach leaves
1/3 banana fresh/frozen or 4 cubes of frozen/fresh mango
Flesh of 1 slice of lemon, no rind
1/2 avocado
1 tsp. each
-Pepitas
-Sunflower seeds
1/2 Tbsp./1 dessert spoon of Chia Seeds
1 Tbsp./2 dessert spoons of Coconut Oil
1 Tbsp. Coconut milk/cream, depending on desired creaminess
2 tsp. Homemade Almond Butter
Topped up with water/coconut water
Ice
Optional: 1/2 tsp. spirulina powder
1/2 tsp. maca powder
Method:
Place all ingredients in Nutribullet/Blender and blast/blend until smooth, pour into glass and drink immediately. I have this on its own for breakkie on busy days.
Green leaves, fruit, seeds, superfood add ins and good fats, what a great start to a day!
