I’m not going to guess what exactly you’d like to know more about so I’ll try to give you a brief, to the point overview of “About Sophie” but just like you, I’m so much more than just some writing on a webpage.

I'm an OT. I empower and guide dedicated change-makers to create their happiest, healthiest lives so they can embody the awesome state of holistic health.

Personally I am:
- A partner to a handsome, innovative, inspired and down-to-earth man who is working to change attitudes to the treatment of the earth.
- A daughter to two incredible, kind and amazing parents and sister to a smart, creative and wonderful young woman.
- A nutrition and wellness enthusiast, who reads non-fiction books for fun (and shares all that learning here!).
- An avid journal keeper since I was 13 years old.
- A beach-loving, Perth girl.
- A passionate staffy lover of Evie, my fur-baby.
- A benchtop Kombucha, Sauerkraut and Kefir brewer.
- A colourful scarf wearer.
- A music lover.
- A healthy foodie.
- Definitely not perfect, I make mistakes and struggle too, but I always look for the lesson and do my best to connect with what it’s telling me I need to change.

- A mover and a shaker, I never stop looking for the next way to up-level my health and life.
- A lifelong learner, I’m always studying something.
Professionally I am:

- An Occupational Therapist, who completed a 4 year Bachelor of Science degree.
- A specialist in: wellbeing, stress management, life enhancement, holistic weight loss, health and lifestyle disease management, Autism and ASDs, child behaviour and development.
- Driven.
- A Behaviour Modification Specialist.
- Compassionate, I understand and I believe in a person’s ability to accept and grow beyond what holds them back.
- A pattern realiser, I can see lessons that are being presented to people and help them to acknowledge and grow from them.
- A holistic wellness enthusiast and health coach dedicated to helping others create their happiest lives as nourished and well beings.
- Tough (I’m known for delivering the “here’s the thing” talk, providing someone with the information they need to hear. I help people to make the changes they need to, but haven’t.)
- The person that others come to when they’re ready to make change, but are scared or doubting themselves.
- A passionate believer that when we are ready to learn our guide will appear.
Professionally I have:
- -Had many careers before I combined them all into this business.
- -Completed a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
- -Used my OT skills to help others create awesome life changes.
- -Trained as a Behaviour Modification Specialist with a world-renowned thought leader in the field.
- -Worked as the sole Occupational Therapist at an Early Intervention Clinic.
- -Used my experience in overhauling my diet and lifestyle to help and inspire others to do the same.
- -Helped families of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder to implement OT, ABA and behaviour modification programs, in homes and schools.
- -Created Happy, Well and Fed. A website dedicated to helping you to create your happiest life as a nourished and well being.
- -Coached people to achieve lasting wellness, health and happiness through behaviour change.

- Growing Happy, Well and Fed to reach more people and inspire worldwide empowerment, self-care and wellness.
- Coaching clients to overhaul their diet and lifestyle to one of incredible, holistic health in my Holistic OT practice both on and off line.
- Continuing to provide the knowledge to empower you to take charge and become your health detective.

So Why Happy, Well and Fed?
I believe you can only do better, if you know better and that the key to realising and living your best life begins with the awareness of your behaviours and working to make positive change in them.
As a reformed sugar and carb fiend who was eating myself into fatigue and illness, I have transformed my diet and lifestyle to one of health. I have achieved this with an as nature-intended whole foods diet, daily movement and mindful-awareness of my lifestyle choices and their affect. I am a devoted non-fiction health, happiness, wellness, and nutrition reader and information consumer. I also collect, and devour, whole food recipe books like they're going out of print.
My mission is to empower you with all the tips, tricks, tools and information to become your own health boss in charge of your health, happiness, nourishment and all the things that aid your wellbeing.
I will share the knowledge, inspiration and motivation you need to invest in yourself, to grow and be proactive in all areas of your life. To help you live your best life, the one you know that you truly deserve to be living.
My passions are:
- Taking a holistic, preventative approach to health and wellness. "If you can prevent it now you won't need to treat it later".
- The process of creating happiness day to day, psychology and creating your dream life.
- Wellness and optimising health through researched and proven strategies.
- Healthy wholefood eating and cooking.
- Looking after kids.
- Ongoing learning and self-development.
What you’ll find:
Happy section: an exploration of all things happiness including; psychology, self-improvement and care, mindfulness, spirituality including Buddhism, values, beliefs, relationships, growth and ongoing learning.
Well section: an exploration of ways to optimise health through lifestyle choices. This includes exercise, sleep, relaxation, energy, yoga, saunas, play, tips for prolonging life and a holistic approach to a balanced, healthy lifestyle. My favourite way to describe this is striving for "eudaemonia" which means human flourishing.
Fed section: all things food…healthy recipes, reviews of foodie finds, cookbooks, all things gluten, dairy and refined sugar free (and mostly grain free).
Kids section: how to have happy, healthy kids, positive parenting, how to change challenging behaviours and teach appropriate ones, give consequences lovingly and fairly and so much more.
I will be here to hold your hand and guide you on your journey of creating the life you truly deserve to be living.
